DAY 3 — The Fight Is Over  

What a picture of what Jesus does for us! He removes our iniquities; He restores what was lost, because of our sins; He comforts us by the Holy Spirit. What a Lord! What a Savior! Notice the announcement that our warfare is over. We don’t have to defeat sin, sickness, or the devil. Jesus defeated them. That warfare is over. Our battle now is simply to resist the devil and resist what he throws our way. How do we resist the enemy? We resist with the Word of God, just as Jesus did. Speak God’s Word and trust that it will not return void. It is with the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, that we enforce our victory in spiritual warfare and pull down strongholds. The war is already won because Jesus has paid the full price.
