Blessing For Today

DAY 357 OF 365

The Apple of His Eye

God the Father never lets go of His child. He is the rock in the midst of difficult circumstances. He is the light that dispels the darkness. His love, provision and protection are always for His children.

There was a little boy who was getting down from a train at every station and waited till the last moment and when the guard whistled, he would board the train. An elderly gentleman said, “Dear son, why do you do this? You are so careless. What will you do if the train leaves you behind?” The boy replied, “The train can never leave me and go, I have full control over this train.” He was amused and asked him “Why did you say that?” The boy said, “My daddy is the driver of this train. So, he will not leave me.”

How confident the little boy was! He knew his father would never leave him to suffer. In the same way, you have a heavenly Daddy. He is the heavenly Father who holds the universe by His word. Beloved, His eyes are constantly watching you. He will never leave you alone to suffer. He is with you to sustain and to deliver you from all troubles. Enjoy this day with your Father’s assurance.

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, You are a good Daddy to me. You will never leave me nor forsake me. You never allow me to suffer alone. Thank You for being with me always. Lord, protect me under Your wings. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

‘You are the apple of God’s eye’
