Black Dress 

God’s promise declares, “Your mourning will turn into joy.” We see many hearts bubble with joy as Jesus is alive. If God is for you, who can be against you? 

A businessman left his business and went to do Lord’s ministry. He faced many problems there and finally decided to go back to his business. One day, he was sitting very sadly in his house. His wife came down wearing a black saree. The man was shocked and asked her, “Why are you wearing this black saree? Is anyone dead?” After a while, she asked him, “Why are you sitting like this? Has God left you helpless? Is God dead?” Her words pierced this man’s heart. Immediately, he got confidence that he could overcome all of his problems. A great faith filled his heart and made him confess that Jesus is alive and He is risen. 

Beloved, never put on a sad face. If you have a sad countenance, either your faith has left you or you have belittled God in your eyes. My dear friend, God is not dead. Do not wear an attire of mourning. He is alive. Your problems will flee. You will laugh and dance. Enter this day knowing that He is there by your side to solve every problem. Dress in bright colors and express your joy in Christ. 

Prayer 

“Loving heavenly Father, I have messed up my life and that of others too. I do not know how to remove these tangles. I submit every thread of my life into Your beautiful hands. I wait to see the beautiful design You will make out of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
