Salvation 

Abiding in God at all times will increase one’s anointing. It will hone one’s receptivity to the Holy Spirit to receive revelations. 

In the Bible, you read about an old man called Simeon who was just and devout. He was waiting in the temple all the time, waiting for the Consolation of Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord Jesus Christ. Moreover, the Holy Spirit revealed to him that Christ will come into the world to bring consolation to Israel. So, he was praying all the time. He went to the temple one day, and when he saw the child, he knew it was Christ and he prophesied as to what was going to happen through Him and to Mary, His mother. 

Beloved in Christ, Simeon was abiding in God. He was in His presence all the time. Therefore, he received revelation from God. Though many children were brought to the temple by their parents, Simeon identified Jesus and prophesied about Him. As you remain in His presence all the time, you will also know what God has in store for you and others. You will bear more fruits when you abide in Him. Long to be with Him to know more of what’s in His heart. Then you will see your salvation. 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, just as Simeon waited in Your presence all the time, I choose to abide in You all the time. Let me receive revelations from You regarding my life and others. Help me to choose the right path every day with Your help. Give me the discernment of spirits. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
