Blessing For Today

DAY 283 OF 365

God, Your Assurance

Sometimes loneliness is the best time to draw closer to God and experience His presence. But, there is another type of loneliness, which stems out of sorrow, guilt and judgment.

Today, many people in this world go into depression because of loneliness. Many even end their lives. Even Jesus went through a rough period, forsaken by all. During His last days on this earth, Judas betrayed Jesus, Peter denied Jesus and all disciples left Him and fled. Moreover, on the Cross, Jesus cries out to the Father, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” He faced injustice, wicked people and even death, all alone. When that time of loneliness crept Him, He was filled with great agony. But, at that time of hardship He confessed, “I am not alone; because the Father is with Me.”

Beloved, Jesus had the assurance that the Father was with Him. He confessed it boldly. This strengthened Him to go through the path of cross victoriously. Today, Jesus has promised you, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Be assured that Jesus is with you to carry you through all your pain and agony. Cross the path with the assurance, “My Jesus is with me today.” You will see victory.

Prayer

“Loving Father, thank You for Your precious promise. I believe that You are with me always. With this assurance, I enter this day. I believe that You will work out all things for good in my life. Help me to overcome all problems. In Jesus’ name I take the victory. Amen.”

‘Jesus walks with you like a shadow; You are never alone’

Scripture
