A Big Catch 

Prosperity and healing is found in God’s wisdom alone. As you seek more of His wisdom, you will be blessed and honoured all the more. We read in the Bible that after the resurrection of Jesus, few of the disciples of Jesus went for fishing. They fished all through the night. They could not even catch a single fish. But they were all well-experienced fishermen. Jesus appeared suddenly on the shore and asked them whether there was any food. “No. We tried all through the night”, came the reply. Jesus said, “Cast your net on the right side.” As per His word, they cast out the net. Then they caught fishes, which were so great in number that they were unable to pull it to the shore. They caught 153 big fishes. 

God’s wisdom is amazing. Contrary to fishing at night, Jesus asked them to cast their nets in the morning. Others on the shore would have laughed at them for fishing at the wrong time. Without any argument, His disciples obeyed His word. They caught 153 big fishes. Beloved, obedience to God’s word brings bountiful blessings from God.

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I bring all my efforts towards my studies / job / marriage / children / finance before you. You are the God who has promised that we will eat the labour of our hands. As you have said, bless all my efforts in every area of my life. Help me to reap the reward in abundance. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
