Principles of Purity 

Once, when my father went to preach in another country, a Pastor told him an interesting story of how his wife got job in an airlines company. The Pastor said that his wife had attended many interviews where they asked her whether she knew to dance and if she knew the varieties of alcohol. She always said that she didn’t know any of them, as she was a god-fearing person. At last, she went to another airlines for an interview. There also they asked her the same questions about drinking, smoking, etc. This time she became frustrated and shouted at them saying she would never do those things as she was God’s child. The officers said that she was appointed as they don’t encourage smoking, drinking etc. in their airlines. They gave her 4 times her previous pay as her salary. 

My friend, this is how God raises his children to shine in the world. Today, you may be working in a corporate organisation or may be surrounded by people who are indulging in the pleasures of this world. But, how do you survive among them? Are you struggling to maintain your spirituality? Jesus says, ‘I will raise you even in the midst of the thorns. Do not worry.’ Remember to start your day at the feet of Lord Jesus so that no temptations can overcome you. The Lord will send His angels to guard you. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, You know my very thoughts, You know my struggles. Thank you Father for sending Your Holy Spirit to help me. Though I am dishonored I know You will honor me one day. Amen.”
