Grief Bites: A New Approach to Growing Through GriefSample

When one goes through grief, it can be tiring to be around other people and feel as though you need to constantly wear your "game face" around them.
When you are in the middle of grief, it can be hard to be "yourself"...after all, could they handle the tears you desperately want to shed when they ask you if you are okay?
We may try to be brave during our greatest heartaches, and it's not exactly socially acceptable to breakdown crying while at work, but it's so good that's not the case with God. With Him, He invites us to simply come to Him...broken heart, fears, scars, disappointments, and all.
Going through grief or loss is very painful...and it is one of the best opportunities you can have while on earth to enter into a transparent, genuine, and honest friendship with God.
Get alone with God today. Tell Him exactly how you feel, share what's going on in your heart and life.
Cry as much as you need to cry and ask Him to provide you the comfort you desperately need.
Ask for His help to get you through the grief experience or life challenge you are facing.
Only He has the ability to truly heal your broken heart and life.
As you focus on God, an amazing thing begins to transpire: His grace begins to fill your heart as He gives you His amazing grace to heal.
Get together with God and have a simple, honest, and humble conversation. Maybe even sing some hymns or praise songs.
As you make the sincere effort to focus solely on Him, the focus on yourself and your troubles will begin to fade and you will realize and experience His beautiful love and grace.
