Recognizing Your Calling
Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:7

Calling is not only discovered in dramatic moments; it is often recognized through patterns, burdens, and consistent inner convictions shaped by God. Many believers assume calling is hidden when in reality it is already active but not yet acknowledged.
This matters because recognition is the beginning of responsibility. You cannot respond to what you refuse to see. God often reveals calling progressively, not all at once, requiring attentiveness and spiritual sensitivity from the believer.
When calling is not recognized, confusion persists. People drift between interests, imitate others, or remain passive while assuming they are “still waiting.” Delay is often not a lack of calling, but a lack of recognition.

Write down:
What consistently burdens your heart
What you naturally feel drawn to in service or responsibility
Look for patterns, not moments.

PRAYER
Father, open my eyes to recognize the calling You have placed upon my life. Deliver me from confusion and delay. I pray for believers across Nigeria, that they will not miss what You are revealing in their lives.
Lord, bring clarity across nations. Let Your people recognize and respond to Your purpose without hesitation.

CONFESSION
I recognize the calling of God upon my life. I am not confused about my purpose.
