The Purpose of Ministry
Scripture: Ephesians 4:12
The purpose of ministry is the building up of God’s people and the advancement of His kingdom. Ministry is not self-centred; it is outward-focused. It exists to strengthen believers, equip the saints, and glorify God.
This matters because it defines intention. When purpose is clear, the ministry becomes focused and effective. It is no longer about recognition, but about impact and service.
When purpose is misunderstood, ministry becomes self-serving. People begin to seek platforms, attention, or influence instead of the edification of others. This distorts God’s intention.

PRAYER
Father, align my heart with the true purpose of ministry. Help me to serve with humility and clarity. I pray for believers across Nigeria, that their lives will build others and glorify You.
Lord, raise a global Church that serves with purity of motive and clarity of purpose.
CONFESSION
My life serves the purpose of God. I build, edify, and glorify Him through my ministry.
