Day 2: The Lie—You Are Not Enough

I remember trying to earn my worth, convinced that my value was tied to what I could achieve or accomplish. I was on a spiritual hamster wheel, striving to prove myself, to do enough, and to be enough. I wasn’t rooted in God’s truth and His Word.

The enemy saw that gap and whispered lies about my worth, my identity, and my purpose. I struggled with anxiety, burnout, and confusion, wondering why I couldn’t seem to find the peace or joy I thought faith should bring. It was wise believers in my life who reminded me of Scripture, not worldly strategies.

I learned that my value isn’t found in what I do but in who I belong to. I am a child of God, created for good works, and my purpose is rooted in Christ, not my performance. The more I rooted myself in God’s Word, the more the lies lost their power. My worth is not measured by my achievements but by what Jesus has already done for me.

Resting in His grace was my anchor, and that truth freed me from the pressure to prove myself. I am enough, not because of my own efforts but because of His love and grace.
