She Reads Truth - DanielSample

Just Intercede
Daniel sure lays it all out on the table. We are sinful and shameful. God, He is righteous and merciful. Daniel doesn't take the time to work it out in his head or make it compute on paper. He just starts interceding on behalf of himself and His people.
How often do you and I start explaining away our issues or making excuses for ourselves? Moreover, how often do we start answering for the Lord in our heads? Maybe we limit His grace or put boundaries on His mercy. But Daniel just prays.
Sisters, we are called by His name and we are His. He has set us aside as daughters and has seen our sin before we could ever be seen. If the separation between you and the Lord or a loved one and the Lord feels insurmountable, remember Daniel and His words.
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name. (Daniel 9:19)

About this Plan

Maybe we’ve heard about Daniel and the lion’s den - but who was he really? Daniel was an exile from Judah in a foreign land (Babylon) with many eyes on him, watching which moves He would make and how those choices would define him. Let’s dig into Daniel together and let the Lord make Himself more known to us. Let’s read about the One who made Daniel’s story matter and who is still speaking truth to us through His words today.
