Resurrection: When Honour Meets Grace
Elisha entered the room and stretched himself over the boy, eye to eye, mouth to mouth, hand to hand (2 Kings 4:32–35). This unusual act symbolized identification, prayer, and impartation. It also shows us that honour creates access. Her honour gave the prophet authority to act on her behalf.
Then the child sneezed seven times, a sign of complete restoration. The miracle didn’t begin in the moment of resurrection. It began the day she opened her home with honour.
This is the power of honour:
It goes ahead of you.
It speaks for you.
It stands in rooms you cannot enter.
It answers cries you cannot express.
What God resurrects in your life, joy, purpose, dreams, relationships, will often flow through the places where you previously honoured Him.
Honour is never wasted. It is a seed with no expiry date.
