Increase & HonourSample

The Prophet’s Room: When Honour Speaks
When the Shunammite woman’s son died, she didn’t panic. She didn’t collapse in grief. Instead, she carried him straight to the prophet’s room, the very space she had built as an act of honour (2 Kings 4:18–21).
Why that room?
Because that room represented her history with God. It represented her seed, her honour, and her obedience. It was a physical reminder of her spiritual posture.
What she built in a past season became her lifeline in a crisis.
This is a Kingdom pattern:
Your obedience today becomes your testimony tomorrow.
Your honour in peaceful seasons becomes your strength in difficult seasons.
Your hidden sacrifices become God’s platform for miracles.
Many people want resurrection power without building a place of honour first. But God often uses what you built in faith to breathe life into what feels dead.
Your past obedience has a voice. Your honour has a memory. Heaven remembers.
Reflection Question:
- What have you built in past seasons that God may want to use again?

About this Plan

God consistently moves His people toward increase—multiplying, restoring, and expanding those who walk with Him. But increase follows patterns, and one of the greatest is honour. This 7-day plan explores how honour positions you for God’s multiplication, using the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4 as a key example. Her simple generosity unlocked blessings she never requested and later opened the door to resurrection power. You’ll learn how God prepares you internally, how order attracts increase, and how obedience speaks in crisis. You will recognize God's patterns and step into your next season of growth.
