First Things FirstSample

Prayer Is Our First Response
How often have we said, “All we can do now is pray”? In the Kingdom, prayer is not our last resort — it’s our first response.
Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…”
Prayer shifts us from panic to peace. It brings heaven’s perspective into earthly challenges. When we pray first, we’re saying, “God, I trust Your wisdom more than my worry.”
Jesus modelled this beautifully — before choosing disciples, performing miracles, or facing the cross, He prayed. If Jesus needed prayer, how much more do we?
Start each day this week by praying before checking your phone or making plans.
Prayer:
“Father, I choose to pray first. Let my heart be still before You. Fill me with Your peace and lead me with Your wisdom. Amen.”
About this Plan

It is time to pause and reset. This series is about setting the right priorities, creating new habits, and aligning our hearts with what truly matters. God wants to build strong foundations in every part of life, including faith, family, finances, and purpose, so we are ready for all that is ahead.
