Access

Jesus declared, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Through Him, we have direct access to the Father’s presence, love, and care. What once was fatherlessness becomes family, as the Spirit of adoption teaches us to cry out, “Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15).

This access heals our deepest wounds. Many carry pain from absent or broken fathers, but Christ calls us to forgive as He forgave us. Forgiveness releases bitterness so we can fully live in the Father’s peace. At the center of this access is love—the perfect, unconditional love of God (1 John 4).

When you know you belong to the Father, you believe His presence is always open to you, no matter your past. That belief reshapes how you behave: Instead of living bound by rejection or bitterness, you walk in forgiveness, live in His love, and go out as one sent—bringing hope and access to others.

Application
Take a few minutes to pray about someone you may need to forgive. Write their name down, and ask God to help you release bitterness so you can step fully into the freedom of His love. Let one person know this week that Jesus came to give us access to the Father
