Agreement

The Gospel is the story of God’s unshakable, unconditional love. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). But for that love to transform us, we must come into agreement with what God says. Agreement is not just knowing—it’s aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with His truth.

False agreements—shame, fear, and lies of unworthiness—keep us bound. Agreement with God’s Word sets us free to live as He intended, walking in love and service (Galatians 5). Scripture declares, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1). To agree with this truth is to reject every competing label and embrace our true identity.

When you know you belong to the Father, you believe His Word above the lies. And that belief changes how you behave: you walk in freedom, see struggles through the lens of eternity, and live on mission as Jesus commanded—helping others come into the same agreement with His love.

Application
Identify one false agreement you’ve been living under (e.g., “I’m not enough,” “God can’t use me”). Replace it with the truth of Scripture, and say it out loud as a declaration today.
