Title: When the City Takes Notice
When Philip showed up in Samaria, the Bible says the whole city was filled with great joy. One surrendered person turned an entire place upside down. That’s what happens when the Holy Spirit takes over a life; joy spreads, hope sparks, and people notice something different. When the Spirit moves in me, joy spreads around me.
You may feel small, young, or unnoticed, but light doesn’t have to be big to change a room it just has to shine. The influence God gives you doesn’t always look like a big platform; sometimes it looks like simple obedience. Philip didn’t show up with a plan to change a city he showed up submitted to the Spirit, and the takeover happened supernaturally.
When you let the Holy Spirit lead you, your presence carries peace others can feel. Your kindness becomes contagious. Your joy becomes magnetic. Your prayers shift atmospheres.
You’re not just another student. You’re a carrier of joy, hope, and God’s power.
Today we should remember this principle: when the Spirit moves in me, joy spreads around me.
