Living as One Loved and Secure

“Either way, Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.”— 2 Corinthians 5:14–15 (NLT)

Now that you know you are saved by grace, forgiven, and secure in Christ, what next?

Salvation is not the end of your story — it’s the beginning of a new life filled with purpose.
God didn’t just save you so you can “make heaven someday.” He saved you so you can live for Him today. Once you truly understand His love, the only natural response is to love Him back with your life.

We don’t live for God to earn salvation — we live for Him because we already have it.

2 Corinthians 5:14 says the love of Christ should motivate how we live. When you realize how deeply God loves you, how much He forgave you, and how secure you are in Him, serving Him becomes a joy, not a burden.

Living as one who is safe and secure in Christ means:

1. Surrendering Daily

Not out of fear, but out of love.
Like Romans 12:1 says, offering your life to God becomes a “living sacrifice” — a willing “Yes, Lord” every day.

2. Loving Others

The same grace God showed you, you now show to others. You forgive, show kindness, and reflect Jesus to the world.

3. Sharing the Good News

Now that you know the truth, you can’t keep it to yourself. God calls us to be ambassadors — to help others discover the same salvation and assurance we have found in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). You don’t need a microphone — your story, your growth, your love, and your life are powerful tools.

You may not feel “qualified,” but God uses ordinary people to bring extraordinary transformation. Sharing Jesus is not about having all the answers; it’s simply telling others what He did for you.

You are loved. You are chosen. You are safe. So step into your purpose with confidence.

Live boldly, serve joyfully, and share Christ fearlessly.

This is the life of someone who truly understands: I am safe and secure in Jesus Christ.

Prayer
Father, thank You for saving me, loving me, and keeping me secure in Christ. I surrender my life to You. Help me to live each day in a way that honors You. Fill my heart with Your love so I can reflect it to others. Give me boldness to share the message of salvation with those around me. Use my life for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
