Back to the Basics 365Sample

Ministry relationships are a source of great joy and strength in our lives. Developing these friendships requires some endeavoring, as it says in Ephesians 4:3. Strong ministry relationships require that we are daily walking in the Spirit.
When I got saved, many of my old friends stopped wanting to hang out with me. I felt hurt, sad, and very lonely for a time. I genuinely wanted them to experience God's love and to know how much He cared for them, but they were too caught up in their ways to listen. Gradually, my circle of friends grew smaller and smaller.
However, I realized that God was replacing those old relationships with new, godly friendships at church, friendships that encouraged me and uplifted me. Now, I am so blessed to have wonderful friends with whom I share true fellowship and a common desire to live for the Lord.
Looking back, I wonder what happened to those old friends. I pray for them from time to time, but the friends I have now are truly lifelong, irreplaceable blessings.
