🔥 Day 6: Stay Lit — Keep the Flame Alive

Key Verse: 2 Timothy 1:6 — “Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.”

A fire left unattended will always die. That’s why Scripture commands us to fan into flame the gift of God. The fire of revival doesn’t stay alive by accident — it’s sustained by discipline, devotion, and relationship.

Fuel is your investment. Heat is your passion. Oxygen is God’s presence. Together, they sustain the reaction — your ongoing transformation.

When you pray, worship, fast, and obey, you’re adding wood to the fire. When you rest in His presence, you’re allowing oxygen to flow freely. When you stay faithful through trials, you’re proving your flame can withstand the storm.

Now the enemy does not want you to be set ablaze for Jesus. He will plant the thought in your mind (corrupting the fuel), that giving your body, soul, and spirit is too expensive an investment. Do not believe this lie from hell. If you believe that surrendering your life as fuel to the flame is too pricey, remember that Jesus already paid for the price of the investment when He gave His life in complete surrender on the cross of Calvary. He made the payment, and He set the example for us to follow. Christ already gave His body, soul, and spirit, so let us be Christ-like and do the same in return. He sacrificed Himself because He had a passionate faith that we would come to accept His gift of salvation and be radically transformed by the presence of God, our oxygen.

And remember this sobering truth: “If you’re not on fire for God in this life, you’ll be in fire for sin in eternity.”
