Hearing God's VoiceSample

Why Does God Speak?
Today’s Goal
Understand why God speaks to us and learn to discern whether He wants to reveal something or correct us.
Bible (ESV)
1 John 2:27
“And as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie just as it has taught you, abide in him.”
Romans 8:14
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”
Reflection
God always speaks with a purpose. Sometimes He reveals giving a word that may grow like a seed. Sometimes He corrects a direct prompting that calls for obedience. A revelation may need days or weeks to ripen. A correction calls for immediate action, not debate. Both are valuable.
Practical Steps
Recall a moment when a Bible verse touched you. Ask whether it was a revelation or a correction. Write it down, pray about it, and act on it. (if revelation, take time to receive more revelation by meditation, or if correction, just do it as fast as possible)
Action Point
What is the most recent Bible verse that touched your heart? Take a pen and paper and write down what you can do next with that verse or what you’ve discovered about it.
Reflection Point
How do you recognize the difference between a revelation and a correction?
Extra Tip
You don’t have to understand everything at once. God is patient and reveals things step by step.

About this Plan

Many people fill their minds with Bible knowledge and think this builds faith. Yet the Bible says that faith does not come from knowledge alone, but from listening to the word of Christ. This plan helps you discover how to recognize His voice in your heart and how to practice listening to it. Each day includes a short reflection, Bible verses, and practical steps to help you learn to discern God’s voice more clearly.
