LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILDSample

LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 22 OF 30

Keep Alertness

“He devours the distance with fierceness and rage.” (Job 39:24) The horse gallops through battle with focus and energy. It does not shrink back at the sound of trumpets or the clash of swords; it charges ahead with determination. Its eyes are fixed forward, its mind set on the goal. This is alertness: the second component of true enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is not wild excitement; it is focused passion.

Many leaders lose ground not because they lack energy, but because they lack focus. An unfocused leader wastes strength on distractions and drains power on pursuits that do not matter. Alertness keeps you sharp, enabling you to discern divine opportunities even amid chaos. It helps you recognize the difference between what is urgent and what is important.

The lame man at the Beautiful Gate looked at Peter and John, “expecting to receive something from them” (Acts 3:5). That single moment of focused attention opened the door to his miracle. Likewise, when your heart and mind are alert to God’s movements, revelation flows, and transformation follows.

Consider: Where is your focus today? Stop scattering your energy in many directions. Concentrate on what God is doing in your life right now. Attention attracts revelation, and focus fuels fulfillment.

About this Plan

LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

God created animals not only for our meat but also for us to learn wisdom. When you behold the animals from the angle of love and fear for God, you will catch the wisdom of God for a prevailing life.
