Dream Big

Every ascent begins in the heart. Before the deer leaps, it looks. It envisions the next height. Likewise, every leader must first dream before he climbs.

Dreaming is a divine ability; it is seeing beyond the visible. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God’s thoughts toward us are higher than ours. When you align your dreams with His thoughts, you begin to see the peaks He has prepared for you, for inside God’s thoughts resides the reality of our destiny.

But a dream alone is not enough; it must be ignited by desire. Desire is the fire that keeps the dream alive. The deer pants for the water; it does not merely think about it. Desire moves you from intention to action, from vision to victory.

Many leaders lose momentum not because they lack talent, but because they lose passion. Keep your desire burning. Write your goals. Discipline yourself. And above all, make your ultimate desire God Himself, for only He can satisfy the soul.
