The Carpenter God EntrustedSample

When God chooses ordinary
Joseph was not a prophet, priest or teacher of the Law, but his trade was no less holy in God’s eyes. He was a carpenter – a man of labor, hardships and daily responsibilities. And it was to him that God entrusted the most sacred task of raising Jesus. That is no accident. God always seeks not the strongest, but those who have got a faithful heart.
Joseph does not say a single word in the Gospel, but his life sounds louder than a thousand sermons. He hears God in his dreams, makes decisions in silence, and remains a man of dignity even in the hardest times. It is through Joseph that we see that holiness begins not on the stage but in the workshop; not with great deeds but with being faithful in small things.
Quiet questions in the workshop:
- Do I believe that God can act through my ordinary job in the office, workshop or in the kitchen?
- What does it mean for me to be faithful in my everyday life?
Prayer:
God, thank You for choosing ordinary people for extraordinary deeds. Teach me to see You on an ordinary day and serve You anywhere I am. Amen.
About this Plan

Christmas is more than just a story about a child born in a manger. It’s also a story about a man who, in silence, trusted God even though everything around him was screaming that it was impossible. Joseph, a simple carpenter from Nazareth, became a man to whom God entrusted the most precious – His Son.
