The Promise of Revival

DAY 2 OF 7

The Revival Within the Shaking

When Jesus spoke about the last days, He testified that a shaking would come over all nations on earth. He said there would be wars, famine, deception, and fear (Matthew 24:6-8).

Yet in the same breath, He reminded His disciples not to be troubled. In the midst of the shaking lies a divine intervention, the promise of revival.

The shaking of the world is not to destroy the Church but to awaken her. God uses the unrest of nations to prepare hearts for His glory.

Just as Haggai declared that when the nations are shaken, the desire of all nations will come (Haggai 2:7), so in these times the shaking is preparing the ground for a mighty outpouring of the Spirit.

Revival often comes on the heels of crisis. When the world grows weary of its systems, the hearts of men begin to open to the reign of God.

Every shaking removes what is false so that what is true can stand. In this season, God is stripping away distractions, exposing weakness, and calling His people back to the altar of fire and prayer.

So, do not fear the shaking; rather, discern it. What seems like chaos in the world is God’s way of realigning His people to the promise of revival. The darkness you see is not the end. It is the stage being set for the light to break forth.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, help me to discern Your hand in the shaking. Let me not be moved by fear but anchored in Your promise. Use every season of unrest to awaken my heart and prepare me for the outpouring You have spoken of.
