The Promise of RevivalSample

Hope in the Midst of Darkness
Many believers today view the end time through the lens of fear. They see it only as a season of evil, cold love, and spiritual decline. Yet even as Jesus described these realities, He also revealed something glorious and comforting: the promise that the gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all nations.
This verse serves as a hint of the promise of revival in the end times. It tells us that in the midst of gloom and doom, there is a plan of revival. For us, the last days are not dark days. Through the words of our Lord, there is a promise of spiritual awakening that would be ignited by the Spirit of God across the nations of the earth.
We must understand that the end time is not merely a period of darkness rising; it is also a time of God's light breaking forth. Isaiah 60:1-2
This is the season when the Church must lay hold of the promise of revival in the midst of the decadence prevalent in the world, for God has promised to pour out His Spirit afresh before the end comes. Joel 2:28-31.
Lost souls and the broken are being touched, and those who sit in darkness will see a great light. Among the saints, God is also rekindling passion and love for His Kingdom.
Similarly, when many think of revival, they see it as an event that took place at a moment in church history. Yet revival is not a time in the past. It is God’s prophetic plan for the last days. If deception is on the rise, then God’s power will rise even greater. If iniquity abounds, grace will abound much more. The love of many may grow cold, but the fire of a few will ignite nations.
Let this be your perspective: the last days are not for us to cover in fear and allow darkness to rule. It is a time of revival. A time of refreshing flowing from the throne of God. This is a time when the light of God must burn in our hearts and shine forth to those around us.
Prayer Focus:
Lord, open my eyes to see the end times through Your promise, not through fear. Rekindle in me a passion for revival. Let me be part of the move that carries the gospel of Your Kingdom to all nations.
