Peace Over PressureSample

You’ve been responsible for so much.
For making peace. For holding space. For doing the work no one sees. For keeping it all afloat. And maybe somewhere along the way, you picked up this quiet belief: If I stop, it will all fall apart.
But Sis, you're not the glue. God is.
Exodus 14:14 offers a radical invitation: Be still. Let God do the fighting. Let Him hold the outcomes. Let Him be the one who sustains. You don’t have to hustle for your place in the world or His heart. You only need to be still. Not perfect. Not polished. Just still.
Zephaniah 3 tells us something stunning: God delights in you. Not because of what you do. But because of who you are because of Whose you are—His daughter, His joy, His beloved. It tells us He sings over you. Not because of your output. But because of His presence.
So, turn down the volume of responsibility. Let your evening be a place of rest, not because everything’s done, but because He is with you. Psalm 91 is one of the most comforting chapters in all God’s Word reminding us that we can find shelter and refuge under His care—day and night.
You’re allowed to breathe. To receive. To be.
Prayer:
God, thank You for being the One who holds it all. I release the pressure to perform. Help me be still and let You delight in me as I simply am.
Grounding Practice:
Sacred Stillness
- Sit in silence for 2–3 minutes. No agenda. Just be.
- As thoughts come, release them. Whisper: “God, I am Yours. And that’s enough.”
