Peace Over Pressure

DAY 1 OF 5

If you’re reading this plan, you’re probably that woman. The one who keeps it all running.

You show up. You serve. You smile. But inside? You’re exhausted.

Not just from physical tasks, but from the internal pressure to do it all, hold it all, and never let anyone see you sweat. You’re strong, yes, but strength isn’t the same as peace.

Here’s the truth: sometimes, “holding it all together” is the very thing holding you back from letting God hold you.

Jesus doesn’t ask you to come perfectly composed. He says, Come weary. Come burdened. I’ll give you rest.

Psalm 55 echoes that same heart: cast your cares. Offload the pressure. You weren’t created to carry what only God can hold. In Hebrews, we’re reminded that we need to run our race more like a marathon than a sprint. If we’re going to experience lasting peace it’s found when we untangle ourselves from sin or anything else that weighs us down. We want to be less burdened so we can run with perseverance and keep a steady pace that avoids burnout.

So, let the woman who does it all become the woman who lets go.

Prayer:

Jesus, I’m tired. I keep trying to hold it all together, but I need You to hold me. Teach me to rest in You, not just physically, but soul-deep.

Grounding Practice:

Open-Handed Release

  • Sit comfortably and open your hands on your lap.
  • As you breathe slowly, imagine releasing your to-dos, worries, and roles into God's care.
  • Whisper: “I don’t have to hold it all. God, I trust You to carry me.”

About this Plan

Peace Over Pressure

This study is for the woman who’s always holding it together. Through Scripture, reflection, and grounding practices, you'll learn how to release control, rest in God’s presence, and embrace your identity as His beloved daughter.
