We Don't LoseSample

We Don't Lose
Peter reminded believers that it’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s God’s will, than for doing evil. What the world sees as loss is transformed into gain in the Kingdom. Nothing we give to Christ—our time, efforts, resources, or even tears—is ever wasted. It all becomes eternal fruit.
The apostle Paul encouraged the church in Corinth to remain firm and steady, knowing that their labor in the Lord would never be in vain. That’s our hope: every sacrifice made in obedience to Christ holds eternal value and will be rewarded. In the Kingdom of God, we don't lose. On the contrary, every act of surrender becomes victory and inheritance for eternity.
Following Jesus requires perseverance, even in the face of trials or discouragement. God’s Kingdom invites us to live with an eternal perspective: what seems small or costly today, in His hands multiplies and transcends. Our efforts are not in vain because God always fulfills His promises.
So don’t give up. Even when no one sees your effort, God sees you. Even when your tears fall in secret, God gathers them. Every step of obedience, every act of faith, every surrender out of love for Jesus is sowing eternity. The Kingdom of God advances through people who don’t quit, who persevere, who trust. And one day, everything that today seems invisible will be rewarded for all to see. Because in Christ, nothing… absolutely nothing… is ever lost.
Reflection Questions:
- In what areas do I need to stay firm and steady, remembering that nothing I do for Christ is ever lost?
- How can I live today with the confidence that my sacrifices are eternal investments in God's Kingdom?
Prayer: Lord, thank You that in Your Kingdom, nothing is lost. Even when I don’t see fruit, I trust that every step of obedience holds eternal value. Strengthen me to persevere and keep sowing in faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
