Only Trust Him

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it.

Psalm 37:5, NASB

How can you overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle? Trust in the Lord. The Lord is enough for anything you face today. David invites you to “Commit your way to the lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it” (Ps. 37:5, NASB).

There are many ways to respond to the Lord with a new trust in Him. Have you ever thought about singing to the Lord about your trust in Him? “Only Trust Him,” written by John Stockton, a minister and hymnwriter, became a favorite hymn of response to D.L. Moody’s sermons during the revivals he led in the 1800s. Use the words of this beautiful hymn as your response of trust in the Lord today: “Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now; He will save you, He will save you, He will save you now.”

Lord, I am only trusting in You and nothing else, knowing You are enough for anything I face today. Amen.
