Devotion
Today, you may find yourself in a situation where you’re uncertain about the next step. It could be related to your finances, health, business, or family. In moments like these, you need wisdom that only comes from above.

The scripture for today reminds us that heavenly wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy, and producing good fruit. This kind of wisdom not only helps us make the right decisions but also keeps us aligned with God’s will. To access this wisdom, we must intentionally seek God in prayer.

James 1:5 encourages us: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” God freely gives His wisdom when we ask, and His guidance always leads to peace. Whatever challenge you are facing today, remember that God sees the full picture. Trust Him to guide your steps and give you clarity to move forward.

Abba Father,

I ask for Your wisdom concerning [state your issue]. Your Word says that if I ask, You will give generously without reproach. While I could seek advice from others, I come to You first, knowing that You hold all answers. If there is someone I should speak with for godly counsel, direct me clearly. Remove any confusion or uncertainty, and fill me with Your peace and understanding. Thank You for providing the wisdom I need and for leading me into victory through Christ. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
