Day 8: God Will Heal You

Scripture
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.” – Jeremiah 30:17 NIV

Affirmation
God will restore my health.

Devotion
God is both a restorer and a healer. Through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, healing has already been secured for us. Whatever infirmity or brokenness you may be facing today, His power is greater.

In Matthew 9:18–26, we see two powerful examples of His healing. A woman who had suffered from an issue of blood for twelve years pressed through the crowd, convinced that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. Her faith caught His attention, and Jesus declared her whole.

In the same passage, a father pleaded for his daughter who had died. Though the situation seemed hopeless, he believed Jesus could intervene. When Jesus arrived, He silenced the crowd of mourners and raised the girl to life.

These accounts remind us to trust God’s ability to heal and restore. Remove the noise of fear, doubt, and distractions, and fix your eyes on Him. Believe that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is working to restore you today.

Prayer
Abba Father,

Your Word declares that by Your stripes I am healed. You promise to restore my health and bind up my wounds. I ask for Your divine healing in every area of my life. I stand on the promise of Psalm 103:1–3, that You heal all my diseases and redeem my life from destruction. Today, I boldly declare: I shall not die, but live, and proclaim the works of the Lord. I also lift up those who need healing—heal them, Lord, for You are the Great Physician. I trust in Your power and love, and I declare that I am healed. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
