Day 7: God Will Strengthen You

Scripture
“Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”– Psalm 55:22 NLT

Affirmation
God will strengthen me in all things.

Devotion
There are times when it may feel like you simply don’t have the strength to keep going. Yet even in those moments, God promises to renew your strength and sustain you. If your burdens feel overwhelming, it may be a sign that you’ve been trying to manage life’s challenges in your own strength instead of relying on Him.

Today’s scripture reminds us to give our burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of us. It assures us that He will not let the godly slip or fall. What a comfort to know that when we entrust our cares to Him, He keeps us steady and secure.

Take the first step today toward releasing your heavy burdens. Write them down, and next to each one, write a promise from God’s Word. Let Him know that starting today, you are handing these issues over to Him. Remember, His Word declares:“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7 NKJV). Trust that God will strengthen you as you release the weight you were never meant to carry.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I confess that I have been trying to carry the weight of my problems on my own. Today, I ask for Your forgiveness for moving in my own strength and failing to wait on You. I cast all my cares upon You and ask for the strength to walk in the calling You have placed on my life. I release the exhaustion and emotions that come from holding on to heavy burdens. Lord, I declare this is a new day as I entrust every issue to You and walk the path You have prepared for me. I believe and declare that You will strengthen me to continue on. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
