Day 21: God Will Give You Peace

Scripture
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”– Philippians 4:6–7 NIV

Affirmation
God will give me peace.

Devotion
You can have peace in Christ. Even in difficult times and challenging situations, God promises peace that surpasses all understanding. This peace is not like the world gives; it is an inner calm that only Jesus Christ can provide.

One of God’s names isJehovah Shalom,meaning “The Lord is Peace.” In Judges 6:23–24, God appeared to Gideon, spoke peace over him, and told him not to fear. That same peace is available to us today.

Scripture reminds us of this truth over and over:

• John 14:27 tells us not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid.
• Isaiah 26:3 promises that when we keep our minds on Him, He will keep us in perfect peace.
• Matthew 5:9 declares that peacemakers will be called children of God.

Today, exchange your worries for God’s peace. Bring every concern to Him in prayer and ask Him to fill your heart, mind, and soul with His peace until it overflows.

Prayer
Abba Father,

Today, I trade my worries for Your peace. Your Word promises that if I keep my mind stayed on You, I will have peace that the world cannot give. Help me remain steadfast in Your Word and recall Your promises whenever I feel anxious or concerned. Whatever I am facing, I trust that in You I will find not only peace but also victory in Christ. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
