Day 23: Remember Who You’re Praying To
The greatest motivation for prayer is remembering who we’re praying to. Jesus told Nicodemus: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” (John 3:16).
Prayer is not empty words spoken into the air. It connects us to the Father, who gave His very best, the Son, who laid down His life, and the Spirit, who dwells within us. God is not distant; He is present and He is for us, always drawing near to those who call on Him.
When we remember God’s love, prayer becomes less of a duty and more of a delight. We pray not to earn His attention but because we already have it. We pray because prayer changes us, shaping our hearts to reflect the One who loves us beyond measure.
