35 Day Prayer Plan

DAY 21 OF 35

Day 21 – Petition for Healing

God reveals Himself as “the Lord who heals you,” reminding His people that healing is not just something He does, but a part of who He is. God restored broken bodies throughout the Bible, mended wounded hearts, and renewed weary spirits. Healing reflects His compassion, power, and deep love for you.

Healing comes from God’s power and compassion. Petitioning for healing acknowledges our vulnerability and dependence on His care. Physical illness, emotional wounds, and spiritual brokenness all call for God’s restorative touch.

When we petition God for healing, we acknowledge that our ultimate hope is found in Him. This does not mean that God will not use doctors, medicines, or human strength, but it allows our faith to increase as we ask for, expect, and receive His miraculous healings. Each prayer for healing is an invitation for God’s presence to invade our weakness with His strength.

Yet healing is not always immediate, and sometimes it does not come in the way we expect. Even so, our petitions matter. God uses them to draw us closer to Himself and to remind us that He holds the final word over sickness and suffering. His healing is not limited to the body; it touches the soul and carries eternal hope through Christ.

Petitioning for healing also encourages hope. It reminds us that God is the ultimate healer who works in every situation, even when circumstances seem hopeless. His promise assures us that His care is sufficient and His power unmatched.

Today, lift your illnesses, weaknesses, or areas of pain to God. Ask Him to heal, restore, and strengthen you, trusting in His perfect timing, wisdom, and unfailing love.
