Unleashing FaithfulnessSample

If one thing is certain in life, it’s change. When we’re in moments of despair or we’re navigating difficult and painful circumstances, we all need hope that this, too, will end; that what we’re facing is not forever. Scripture is very clear that while there will be sorrow, sadness, and darkness, these seasons will not last. Weeping may stay for a night, but joy will come with the morning. While we may experience hardship in this life, we know that God promises to restore all things, including all joy, where He will wipe away every tear from our eyes.
This truth can be difficult to cling to when what we’re experiencing is felt so deeply. In those moments, a place to start is by simply praying that God would allow us to trust Him when it’s hard. God knows what we’re going through and hears our cries for help. When hope seems impossible to find, sometimes we must choose to believe it will come before we can actually feel it.

About this Plan

It's easy to look at characters from the Bible, early church leaders, and even modern-day leaders and assume that the goal is to have an extraordinary faith. Does that mean that faithfulness is marked by the extraordinary? This devotional will look at the words Paul left for his young friend, Timothy. As someone who lived an impressive life of faithfulness himself, Paul outlined how we can do the same in every area of our lives, no matter our circumstances.
