Freedom, Breakthrough, and Victory Are Yours in Christ!

There are some who claim there are limits to God’s power.

Tell that to Mary, the young virgin who carried the Son of God in her womb. Though she had never known a man, though logic and nature said it couldn’t be done, the power of the Holy Spirit overshadowed her, and the Word became flesh. “For nothing will be impossible with God” (Luke 1:37, ESV).

Tell that to the thousands who ate a full meal from one boy’s lunch. With just five loaves of bread and two fish, Jesus fed a multitude, and when all had eaten their fill, twelve baskets of leftovers remained (Matthew 14:20). What was insufficient in human hands became more than enough in the hands of the Savior!

Tell that to Lazarus, who had been dead for four days before Christ called him out of the grave. His sisters mourned, his body had begun to decay, but Jesus stood before the tomb and spoke life into death: “Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come forth!’” (John 11:43, NKJV).Then, the dead man walked out, still wrapped in graveclothes, proving that even death must bow to the voice of the Son of God!

Tell that to the Roman guards, who saw the stone rolled away on resurrection morning. These were hardened soldiers, stationed to ensure the dead stayed dead. Yet they trembled and fell as if they were dead themselves when the angel of the Lord appeared. “His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men” (Matthew 28:3–4, NIV).The One they crucified was no longer in the tomb — He was alive!

No matter what you face today, you have hope. Because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Because what He has done before, He will do again. Because Jesus came at Christmas and the price was paid at Calvary. All things are possible in and through Him!
