Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus

Every day, countless distractions compete for our attention. Our eyes can easily fix on goals, struggles, or even temptations that pull us off course. But the call of faith is clear: fix your eyes on Jesus. When our gaze is steady on Him, we find direction, endurance, and hope.

I have to admit, there have been times I allowed my eyes to focus on the wrong things. I followed after desires or distractions that led me down the wrong path. Those pursuits promised satisfaction but left me empty. Every time, I realized that I had taken my eyes off the One who never fails.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus doesn’t mean ignoring life’s responsibilities; it means seeing everything through Him. He strengthens us when we are weak, gives us joy in hardship, and fills us with peace when the world feels unstable. Our faith isn’t about running harder; it’s about looking longer at the Savior who leads us step by step.
