Start Here: The Greatest CommandmentsSample

Loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind isn’t about having the right words or doing everything perfectly. It starts with something simple: drawing close.
God wants to be near you. That’s what this verse promises when you take a step toward Him, He moves toward you, too.
So how do you come close to God?
You pause to pray, even a few honest words.
You listen, maybe through Scripture, worship, or silence.
You look out for His presence in your day.
You choose to respond with love.
Every moment you reach for Him, you’ll find He’s been there waiting for you the whole time.
Take some time to talk to someone today and share what helps you feel close to God. Then find some time to put those things into practice.

In this devotional series, we'll find our starting point in the words of Jesus, focusing on the greatest thing Jesus calls us to do: love God, love others, and love ourselves.
