Faith Over Fame: Rethinking Influence in the Light of the GospelSample

š Day 2 ā When Influence Becomes an Idol
Scripture: Matthew 6:1-6; Galatians 1:10
Devotional:
Jesus warns us: āBe careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by themā (Matt. 6:1). The issue isnāt being seen but desiring to be seen. When influence becomes the core of our identity, it turns into an idol.
Paul asked, āAm I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?ā (Gal. 1:10). This is a question we must ask ourselves daily.
Prayer: Lord, purify my motives. May I desire to please You above any audience.
