Faith Over Fame: Rethinking Influence in the Light of the GospelSample

š Day 1 ā Fame Fades, Faith Remains
Scripture: John 3:30; 1 Peter 5:6
Devotional:
John the Baptist had a platform. He was followed, respected, and heard. But when Jesus arrived, John didnāt try to keep the spotlight. He said, āHe must increase, but I must decreaseā (John 3:30). In a culture that glorifies visibility, John teaches us that true greatness lies in pointing others to Christ.
Fame is temporary; faith is eternal. When we seek popularity more than faithfulness, we reverse the values of the Kingdom. Influence is not an endāitās a means to glorify God.
Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the vanity of fame. Let my life point to Christ and not to myself.
