Come and See

Campus Crusade for Christ is about to begin its 75th year of ministry. I began my own journey fifty years ago as a student. It’s been a privilege to spend my full-time career with this movement—now known in many places as Cru.

Early on, our founder Bill Bright captured the heartbeat of our mission in three words: win, build, send. The wording may have evolved over the years, but the core commitment has never changed. We have not wavered.

Shortly after His baptism, Jesus made an invitation that still speaks to us today: “Come and see.”

It wasn’t a call to observe from a distance. It was a relational, life-changing invitation to follow Him. It was a way to experience His teaching. His miracles. His compassion. And ultimately, His call. "Come and See" is a beautiful model for evangelism and discipleship. It doesn’t need all the answers. It simply invites someone to explore Jesus for themselves. That invitation—to explore Jesus for yourself—is central to the idea of Win, Build, Send.

That’s our mindset for this 30-day journey. We invite you to come and see what God has done—and is doing—through the global ministry of Cru. Not to make ourselves look important but to honor Jesus. Along the way, you’ll hear powerful stories, timeless truths, and fresh Biblical perspectives from around the world.

Our prayer is simple: that you will encounter Jesus more deeply over these 30 days.

Prayer:

"Help me Lord to "come and see" what You are doing. As I do that, may I be drawn closer to You and Your Word. May the next 30-days be something where I look back and say, it was good to be in the presence of the Lord. Amen."
