Overcoming Spiritual DisconnectednessSample

Walking Daily in His Presence
Feeling spiritually connected is not a one-time experience—it is meant to be a daily walk with God. When we maintain a lifestyle of prayer, worship, and time in His Word, we cultivate a strong relationship with Him. Walking in the Spirit means ‘being aware of God’s presence in every moment’. This is possible even when we are at work, at home, or in conversations with others. The more we practice an awareness of His presence throughout the day, the less likely we will become or feel disconnected from Him.
Testimony
Lisa wanted to experience God’s presence more tangibly. She then started a simple habit: at the end of each day, she would thank God for His presence and reflect on how He guided her. Slowly she grew more sensitive to the presence of the Lord and her spiritual dryness started to fade.
Pray
Father, help me to walk with You daily. Let me live in Your presence, hear Your voice, and be led by Your Spirit in everything I do. Teach me to abide in You always. Amen.
Takeaway from this plan
Spiritual disconnectedness is not permanent. As you take these steps—recognizing the distance, repenting, seeking God’s Word, rebuilding your prayer life, worshiping, and walking with Him—you will experience His presence in a new and powerful way.
God has never left you. He is calling you back into deep fellowship with Him. Will you answer?

About this Plan

Have you ever felt distant from God, as if your prayers don’t go past the ceiling? Spiritual disconnectedness can happen to anyone, leaving us feeling dry, discouraged, and directionless. We may still believe in God, but our hearts can feel disconnected from Him. Truth is, God will never abandon us (Matthew 28:20). He does, however, desire an intimate relationship with us. In this 7 Day Devotional plan, we explore practical, Biblical steps to overcome spiritual dryness, rekindle our love for Jesus, and experience His presence afresh.
