HEAL BOLDLY: Healing Is Holy Work - a 5-Day Devotional Journey for Women Ready to Heal, Grow, and RiseSample

DAY 2: The Slow Work of Healing
Scripture: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
🌿 Reflection:
Healing is not a race — it’s a sacred process.
In today’s world, everything moves fast. We expect instant results, quick fixes, and rapid progress. But God’s healing doesn’t happen on our schedule. It unfolds in its own time, with deep intention and gentle persistence.
The slow work of healing invites us to be present with our wounds, to sit with discomfort without rushing to fix it. This kind of healing reshapes us at the core — not just patching up surface pain.
If you’re feeling impatient, discouraged, or like you’re “behind” — know this: healing is not about speed. It’s about being faithful to the process.
God’s timing is perfect because you are worth every moment it takes. The moments you spend growing stronger, learning to forgive, and reclaiming peace are never wasted.
So breathe. Rest in the space God is giving you to heal.
🙏🏾 Prayer:
God, teach me to trust Your timing, even when it feels slow or uncertain. Help me to be patient with my heart and my journey. Remind me that healing is a gift, not a task to be rushed.
📝 Prompt:
Have you been rushing your healing? What might it look like to slow down and embrace each step, trusting God’s perfect timing?
