"Take Heart, I Have Overcome"

As Jesus prepared His disciples for the trials ahead, He gave them a word of comfort: You will not be alone. He promised an Advocate—the Holy Spirit—to be with them always. Not just when things were easy, but especially when things were hard.

The Christian life doesn’t come with a guarantee of ease. Jesus knew His followers would face fear, suffering, and uncertainty. But He also assured them: Take heart, I have overcome the world (John 16:33). The gift of the Spirit isn’t just for guidance—it's for courage. He is our strength when the road is long and our peace when storms rise.

Whatever you’re facing today, the Spirit is with you. You don’t walk alone. And because Jesus has overcome, you can face anything with hope.

Prayer: Victorious Lord, Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to be our Advocate and Helper. In moments of fear or discouragement, remind us that You have overcome the world. Fill us with courage and peace that does not come from circumstances, but from Your presence. Come, Holy Spirit. Be near to us in every trial. Amen.
