Hebrews: Beyond CampSample

Big Idea: Keep your heart soft and your trust strong.
Hebrews 3 gives us a sobering warning: don’t harden your heart. The Israelites saw God move in incredible ways, yet many still walked away because of unbelief. Why? They stopped trusting. They let fear and frustration control them instead of faith.
It’s possible to be close to spiritual things but far from God. It happens when we hear his voice but refuse to respond. Every day we make a choice to keep our hearts soft or to slowly shut them off. A soft heart doesn’t mean a perfect life—it means you're open, willing, and trusting.
Reflect & Respond:
- Have you been ignoring something God’s been saying to you?
- Write down one area where you’ve been resistant to God. Pray for courage to respond with faith.
Pray: Jesus, I want to keep my heart soft. Show me where I’ve stopped listening and help me trust you more today. Amen.
