The old covenant required rule-following and rituals that couldn’t change hearts. But Jesus brings a better covenant—one that transforms us from the inside out. Hebrews 8 says God writes his laws on our hearts.
This means faith isn’t about performance—it’s about transformation. We don’t obey to earn love; we obey because we’re loved. Jesus offers real change, not just external behavior. And that change starts in your heart.
Reflect & Respond:
- Where is God inviting you to let him change your heart, not just your habits?
- Ask Jesus to change one area of your thinking or attitude today.
Pray: Jesus, thank you for changing me from the inside out. Help me surrender my heart to you so I can live from a place of love and not fear. Amen.
