Made to BeSample

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
SHARE YOUR STORY
You've probably been told it's really important to share your story of faith with others. But sometimes we think we don't have a story to tell or we're not ready or experienced enough to share it. But the truth is, you do have stories to share, and you're ready right now! Today's challenge is going to help you identify a part of your story that's worth sharing, and then help you share it. Because sharing your story can help others, but sharing it helps you grow, too!
One of the best ways to better understand how we are made to be is to look at the full picture of our life story. In what ways has God been present with you? How has God shaped your heart? When have you felt called to make a difference?
For this challenge, reflect on your life—or to keep it simpler, the past year. Create an outline or draw a road map with key points along the way. Add your family, the friends that have come and gone, and the pivotal moments you saw God at work.
Once you've created your own story on paper, find someone to share it with. You could invite someone who's already familiar with the twists and turns to celebrate with you what God is doing or ask a new friend if you can share it with them as a way of getting to know one another better.

About this Plan

We’ve all wondered who we are, what makes us unique, and how we’re supposed to make a difference in the world. It may not feel like a big deal, but how you spend your free time says a lot about who you are and what you care most about. It’s easy to feel like our interests and talents are just random, but the truth is that God created each of us with a purpose to do amazing things. For the next 28 days, we’ll see how the hobbies and interests you love might be exactly how God works through you.
